CISR

COUNCIL OF INDIC STUDIES & RESEARCH (प्राच्यविद्या अध्ययन एवं अनुसंधान परिषद्‌) is a registered and recognized council.

CISR is established to promote Indic Studies, Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Philosophy, Religion, Literature, Language, Ancient Indian Wisdom, Indian civilization, culture, and heritage among other things, in order to encourage teaching-learning pedagogy and research. The objective is also to observe various Indian knowledge systems and Indian languages in the global context. ज्ञानं परमं ध्येयम्‌ (Jńànaṃ Paramaṃ Dhyeyaṃ) is the council’s emblem, which means to “Knowledge is the supreme goal.” This council will always be dedicated to promote of Indian knowledge-wisdom through various courses, seminars, webinars, conferences, activities, programs and will bring laurels to the country at a global level.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Within a few months, CISR is able to associate more than five hundred scholars, and about a thousand members., who are committed to promote Indic Studies & Ancient Indian Wisdom across the globe through their skills and knowledge. CISR has a well qualified professional team. India’s renowned Professors of Indic Studies are associated with us as mentors & advisors. We are working for the betterment & upliftment of Indic Studies and Ancient Indian Knowledge System.

AREA OF OPERATION

Area of operation of the CISR shall be all India and abroad. All the events and programs of CISR are free of cost and all its office-bearers are working on honorary basis to promote the Indian knowledge tradition.
