CISR

Welcome to CISR !

From the Desk of Founder & Honorary Secretary General

“India was the motherland of our race, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe's languages: she was the mother of our philosophy; mother, through the Arabs, of much of our mathematics; mother, through the Buddha, of the ideals embodied in Christianity; mother, through the village community, of self-government and democracy. Mother India is in many ways the mother of us all.” - Will Durant

The development of a person’s personality and a fuller understanding of the importance of his or her life to others and to himself or herself are the two most crucial purposes of education, regardless of level. Since, we believe that learning comes not just from acquiring information but also from critical thinking and in-depth reflection, therefore our strategy is to promise a strong commitment to provide learners an active and student-centered learning. If we want to hop on the experience train and travel to every imaginable location on Earth, it is a lifelong practice that can be quite exhilarating. In order to make a significant contribution and gain from this insight in the upcoming years, we aim to devote these years to gaining a correct understanding of what education truly entails.

The “Council of Indic Studies and Research” is a platform that gives students the opportunity to preserve their cultural heritage through various projects in addition to focusing on teaching-learning pedagogy. It supports Indian Studies and ancient Indian languages around the world by promoting high-quality research, publications, and by offering a number of courses. So, we’d like to extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us and support our initiative.
