The following is the provisional list for Maharshi Vashishtha e-Gurukul for UGC NET/JRF (Sanskrit) training, round-2 i.e. the interview session. The candidates who’s names have been listed in more than one category are advised to give interview in only one preferred slot. Only the registered candidates are allowed to appear for the interview session. In case, any kind of discrepancy is found the candidature can be cancelled at any point of time.

About the Initiative
e-Gurukul for Free UGC-NET/JRF is a highly progressive and revolutionary educational initiative for the pursuance of UGC-NET/JRF. This time we are going to organize it only for Sanskrit Subject. Other subjects would be launched soon.
Highlights
- Meritorious students from all across the country would be selected on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview.
- To meet the demands of the coaching programme, the Centre invites qualified mentors with a professional perspective.
- Selected candidates would be given free training.
- Training would be given through online platforms.
- Regular tests would be conducted in order to evaluate the students’ knowledge.
Selection Process
Selection would be done as per process given below :
1. Preliminary Round : All India Entrance Exam (Google Form) = 80 Marks (only top 80 participants will be called for the interview)
2. Interview (Online) = 20 Marks
Total Marks = 100
No. of seats
Total number of seats are = 40
Eligibility criteria
- 55% marks at PG level. UG-Final Year students with 65% marks aggregate till second year are also eligible.
- 5% relaxation will be given to SC, ST, PwDs & Women Candidates.
Reservation
For SC (Scheduled Caste) candidates : 15%
For ST (Scheduled Tribes) candidates : 7.5%
For women candidates : 10%
For PwBDs (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) : Minimum 5%.
Note : For the upliftment of PwDs, there is no limit of seats in this category. All the PwD candidates with having minimum qualification are welcomed. Additional seats would be given as per requirements.

Release of Notification : 5th September 2022 (Monday)
Last date for Online Apply : 19th September 2022 (Monday)
Preliminary Exam date : 01st October 2022 (Saturday), Online link will be sent soon.
Interview date : 16th October 2022 (Sunday)
Final List Display : 30th October, 2022
Inaugural of the class : 11th November 2022 (on the occasion of National Education Day)
Classes will commence from 17th November 2022 (on the occasion of International Students Day) onwards.
Application fees : NIL
There is no fee to attend this programme.
Syllabus for the Entrance Exam
Format of the question paper – A total of 40 multiple choice questions will be asked based on the syllabus prescribed by the UGC for Sanskrit (Subject Code-25) & Sanskrit Vangamaya.
Class Timing
Classes would be held in online Mode through Zoom Platform on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (TEST) from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm (IST).
