Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi, Department of Sanskrit, Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi, is working as Joint Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi. He  earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has abotained Yoga certificate programme from BHU, Varanasi. He qualified JRF / NET from Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), New Delhi for his PhD Course. In addition to serving as a member of the board of studies for the department of Sanskrit and Vedic studies at the BBAU (Central University) in Lucknow from 2021 to 2024, he is also a member of Board of Studies for Amity Institute for Sanskrit Studies and Research at Amity University in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Currently, Prof. Tripathi is member of the research committee of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University in New Delhi, and the member of BRS in faculty of arts at the University of Delhi.

He has received numerous honours, including the Yuva-Pratibha Vidvad Alankaran Award from the Akhil Bhartiya Vidvat Parishad in Varansi in 2016, the Vikram-Kalidas Award (M.P. Govt) from the Vikram University in Ujjain in2016, the Rastriya Utkrisht Kshatra Samman from the Shiksha Vibhag of the Ministry of Human Resource Development in India in1998, and others. Prof. Tripathi has authored 10 books and 36 research papers. He has taken part in more than 50 conferences, seminars, and workshops around the world. He serves as the chief editor of Tripthaga, an international journal of peer-reviewed research published from Varanasi.
