Personal Information

Prof. Satya Pal Singh, is working as senior faculty member in the Department of Sanskrit, Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi, Delhi.

Prof. Singh earned his UG Degree from M.D.University Rohtak, Haryana. He did his Postgraduate and Doctoral degrees from the Department of Sanskrit, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He has published 5 books, and more than 22 research papers to his credit. His commentary on Laghusiddhantakaumudi is a recommended reference book in various 

Universities including University of Delhi and Indological Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Institute, 

Mauritius for M. A. Sanskrit, B. A. Sanskrit and many other Universities. He has presented many papers in almost 21 conferences. He was invited twice to the School of Indological Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Institute, Mauritius, first as a Visiting Scholar in 2005 and then as a visiting fellow in the year 2008. He has also delivered numerous lectures  in Seminars and workshops abroad. Apart from this, Prof. Satya Prakash has presided in several Sanskrit-related conferences & seminars.
